We are dedicated to preparing your child for school while fostering a lifelong love for learning. Our classrooms feature engaging centers that allow children to explore and learn at their own pace. We provide regular assessments and progress reports, along with conferences twice a year to keep you informed of your child's development

Block Center

  • Our preschool blocks center is a designated area in the classroom where children can engage in constructive play using various blocks and building materials, fostering the development of math, science, engineering, and creativity skills, as well as fine and gross motor skills.

Dramatic play Center

  • Our preschool dramatic play center, also known as a pretend play area, is a designated space in a classroom or childcare setting that encourages children to engage in imaginative and role-playing activities, fostering creativity, social skills, and language development.

Library Center

  • Our preschool library center is a clearly defined space that young children can use independently to browse books. The classroom library plays an important role in creating a high-quality early childhood learning experience that enriches language and vocabulary development.

Music Center

  • Our class preschool music center, or music and movement center, is a dedicated area in a preschool classroom designed to encourage exploration, creativity, and musical development through various instruments, movement props, and activities.

Science Center

  • Our science center, or "discovery center", contains items that foster discovery, hypothesis, observation, and using the 5 senses. It may include Earth Sciences (ie: physics, chemistry, rocks, space), Life Sciences (ie: plants, animals, parts of the body).

Writing Center

  • Our writing center is a dedicated space for children to explore writing and develop early literacy skills. It provides tools and activities to help children practice writing, which is important for fine motor and literacy development. Writing centers can help children: 

 

  1.  Develop skills: Recognize letters, strengthen fine motor skills, and learn early writing skills 

  2.  Gain confidence: Work independently and make choices about what to write 

  3. Communicate: Express ideas through writing and illustrations 

  4. Understand written communication: Learn its role in sharing information and ideas 

 

Math Center

  • Our math center helps children practice important early math skills. To create an engaging and educational preschool math center, you can include materials and activities that encourage children to explore counting, sorting, patterns, shapes, and number recognition

Art Center

  • The Art center is a place where students can go to express their feelings, ideas, and be creative! Every child is an artist in the Art center! It is a place that promotes high-level thinking, problem-solving, and is rich in vocabulary.  Students can learn and develop skills in all learning domains (language, literacy, math, science, social studies, fine motor, gross motor, and social skills) through art.  It is an amazing place in our classroom.
